Taito has been updating their Facebook fan page like a bunch of maniacs. One of the updates? The image above...hmm...what could it mean?! While the image above is a pretty blatent confirmation, along with this image, their update today solves the mystery:
Firemint's super mega 99¢ bestseller Flight Control has been rendered in stop motion animation form by MrCheeseStopMotion over at Youtube. The project shows the animator (via dry erase board and markers) turning on his "phone", sliding it open, putting in his password, searching for the game in spotlight, loading it up and then playing it. It's good clean fun and will likely a smile on your face. Take a look at what 4.5 hours with a video camera, dry erase board and a dream will get ya:
There are a few games on the iPhone I always come back to. Games that are so fun and have so much replay value that even after playing countless rounds I envision myself continuing to play them for a long time to come. One game on that short prestigious list has to go to, without a doubt, Big Top 10. No matter how many other games I play in between I always come back to this one and a handful of others. It's one of those perfect pickup and play games you can pull out when you're waiting in line or have a few minutes to kill. If you haven't gotten a chance to play the number puzzler you owe it to yourself to check out their recently released lite version. If you find yourself as hooked as the rest of us you can commit to the full thing for only a buck. Go on, get downloadin'.

Just came across this trailer of the alpha build for the upcoming
balancing game Stay by Anthropophagy. The game is simple in concept but
it doesn't remind me of anything else that's currently available on the
App Store. The goal of the game is to place objects and items on either
side of what's essentially a balance beam to keep an object placed in
the middle centered without it sliding off from a lopsidded
distribution of weight. The longer you're able to keep your object on
the board the better. To throw a wrench in the mix some of the objects
have special abilities. For instance, one of the boxes will explode and
all surrounding objects will react appropriately from the blast.
Behold...gameplay footage!
