I'm back! And while I haven't done a thorough check I appear to have returned with the same amount of toes, teeth, fingers and limbs as I left with. By all accounts I'd say that's a successful return home. While I was hanging out in California with friends and family I didn't get to update nearly as much as I would have liked to. Let's make up for some lost time! Here are all of the noteworthy free games that have come out since my last post. Let me know if I missed anything!
Kurakku Lite (free!)
As you board the intergalactic cruise liner the S.S Kurakku your
mission is to guide the ship and its passengers safely around the
galaxy. Your job is to recharge the ship using the ultimate
environmentally friendly fuel, the Fruit Fuel Cell. If you can refuel
in time then you get to depart on the next journey, exploring the most
colourful and exotic corners of the universe.
You have to fire
coloured fruit fuel cells into the fuel tank using a pinball style
launcher. Your aim is to clear the whole fuel tank of cells by creating
groups of 3 or more matching cells. When 3 cells come together they
explode and disappear to create the fruit fuel the ship will need for
its next journey.
The fuel tank comes part filled with cells
that are arranged in colourful patterns. A single well-placed cell can
lead to a cascade of exploding colours. The skill comes in judging just
how far to pull the launcher back in order to make the perfect shot.
Phaze Lite (free!)
Grab your G-suit and helmet, select your ship and get set for some
maximum velocity race action with Phaze Lite. Try this lite version of
Phaze for FREE!
Navigate the twists and turns of Tau Ceti in
your Daemon Industries Delta 4 as you race your opponents in high tech

Glypha (free!)
A classic arcade game for Mac originally by John Calhoun, Glypha has been brought back to life for the iPhone and iPod touch!
You
are in control of a knight on a winged steed in an Egyptian temple,
battling sphinxes through increasingly difficult levels. Gameplay is
simple – you must fly and collide with enemy sphinxes with your lance
above theirs.
With simple controls, challenging gameplay, and cool retro graphics, Glypha will keep you coming back for more.
