The App Store being the way it is we're seeing all sorts of random, interesting and quirky games come out of nowhere. We've got the bear driving game, the vending machine game and the finger amputation game. Thanks to Quit It! we can add the 'poking game' to the list. 2N Productions, the makers behind the game, explain:

You’re an audience member of a game show called QuitIt! You interact with Lumpy, the show’s star, by poking him with various pokers to win cash. Use your winnings to buy strange gifts for Lumpy as well as even stranger pokers for your persistent poking pleasure.

Unable to leave the game show's stage set, Lumpy is at the mercy of you, a member of the QuitIt! audience. He can wince, cringe, and try to dodge your teasing all he wants, but alas, it's of no avail.

On to of being incredibly charming and having a great sense of humor it looks like they've fully commited to the whole game show idea:

I love the little motivational posters they have in the background and the fact that you can pick from a handful objects to poke Lumpy with. The real question is will QuitIt! be any fun? Tell will tell. No word yet on when QuitIt! launches or how much it'll debut at, but we do know that it has been submitted it is awaiting approval.
